Virus
A computer virus is very similar to the biological version: prolific, constantly mutating and difficult to kill. Viruses hitch a ride on another application or service and infiltrate your computer system, usually causing destruction of some kind. Often arrive under the guise of an email which, when opened, activates the virus.
